Suntory Hakushu 12 Year Old 100th Anniversary Edition Japanese whisky is a special release that celebrates a century of excellence.
- The whisky has a radiant champagne golden colour
- The aroma is fresh and invigorating, with a delicate scents of green apple, basil and pine needles
- The first sip reveals a harmonious interplay of flavours like sweet pear, mint and kiwi
- The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a trail of green tea, subtle smoke and lingering sweetness
The Hakushu 12 single malt is from a careful selection of malt whiskies. All whiskies have been ageing for a minimum of 12 years in various casks, to honour the Suntory Whisky's centenary. Nestled deep in Mt. Kaikomagatake, The Hakushu Distillery draws on its unique natural surroundings. The illustration on the bottle captures the Hakushu distillery in soft hues of verdant green, representing the forest surrounding the distillery.
Their blenders work with peat, while softening the palate using the exceptional mountain water, filtered through ancient granite rocks. Creating a fresh and gentle smoky single malt whisky. A true revelation in Japanese single malts that must be experienced.
