Mt. Capra Non-Fat Goat Milk Powder is a shelf-stable, non-fortified powdered goat milk made from grass-fed, non-GMO Dutch goats, delivering a naturally creamy, easy-to-digest milk alternative in a one-pound package (about 16 servings).
If you want a real-food substitute for cow’s milk that mixes quickly, stores well, and comes from small family farms, this product is designed to be both practical and simple. The powder is minimally processed, contains only goat milk (no synthetic vitamins or folic acid), and is sourced from pasture-raised goats in the Netherlands. It’s useful for everyday drinking, cooking, travel, and baking when refrigeration or fresh milk isn’t available.
What makes this goat milk powder different from powdered cow’s milk?
Goat milk has a distinct protein profile and natural homogenization that many people find gentler on digestion. Mt. Capra’s powder is non-fat and non-fortified, preserving the original milk nutrients without added synthetic vitamins or iron.
- Only 100% goat milk—no added synthetic vitamins or folic acid.
- Lower levels of Alpha-S1 casein compared with typical cow’s milk proteins.
- Produced from grass-fed, small Dutch farms for consistent quality.
- Dry, shelf-stable format that reconstitutes easily with water.
How do I prepare and use Mt. Capra goat milk powder?
Reconstitution is quick: mix two scoops of powder into 8 ounces of warm water to create a cup of milk. The powder also performs well in recipes as a milk substitute—use it in baking, smoothies, sauces, or anywhere fresh milk is called for.
- Standard mix: 2 scoops powder + 8 oz warm water per cup.
- Stir, shake, or whisk for a smooth, lump-free pourable milk.
- Works in hot and cold recipes—add gradually to avoid curdling in heated dishes.
- Travel-friendly: carry measured servings for on-the-go reconstitution.
Is this safe for those with sensitivities or specific dietary preferences?
While not a medical treatment, goat milk often sits more comfortably in some people’s diets due to its protein and fat structure. Mt. Capra’s product contains only goat milk and is not fortified, so check ingredients if you avoid specific additives or follow a strict protocol.
- Non-fortified—no synthetic additives, vitamins, or iron added.
- From grass-fed, non-GMO goats to support traceable sourcing.
- Contains natural milk components—review if you have dairy allergies.
- Not labeled hypoallergenic; consult a provider if you have severe sensitivities.
How long does one pound last and how should I store it?
A one-pound container yields about 16 standard cups when mixed per the suggested scoop amount. Keep the powder sealed in a cool, dry place and use within the manufacturer’s recommended timeframe after opening for best flavor and nutrient retention.
- Approximate yield: 16 cups per one-pound package using recommended mix.
- Store sealed, away from heat and moisture to preserve freshness.
- Ideal for pantry storage—no refrigeration until reconstituted.
- Good option for emergency food supplies, travel, or infrequent milk use.
Who is this for? Mt. Capra Non-Fat Goat Milk Powder suits buyers who prefer whole-food ingredients, need a compact and portable milk option, or want a milk alternative that’s easy on digestion. It’s suitable for cooks, bakers, frequent travelers, and households seeking a non-fortified, grass-fed dairy powder from traceable Dutch farms. If you require a product free from synthetic additives and prefer a naturally creamy milk alternative that reconstitutes cleanly, this powder is a practical choice.
