It's Just Whole Milk Powder is a shelf-stable, 100% whole milk powder made in the USA that recreates the taste and creaminess of fresh whole milk when mixed with water.
Whether you want a pantry-ready milk option for recipes, emergency kits, or everyday use, this 2-pound bag of whole milk powder delivers a convenient, long-lasting alternative to refrigerated milk. Made without rBST/rBGH hormones, preservatives, and with naturally non-GMO, gluten-free ingredients, it dissolves quickly into creamy milk for drinking, baking, or cooking. The powder format reduces spoilage concerns and trims fridge clutter while keeping the full-fat profile that many recipes and palates prefer.
How do I prepare powdered whole milk to match fresh milk?
Reconstituting It's Just Whole Milk Powder is simple: combine powder and warm water in the recommended ratio and stir until fully dissolved. Using warm water helps the powder dissolve evenly and keeps the texture smooth. Chill after mixing to replicate the mouthfeel of refrigerated milk.
- Mix 1 part powder with 4 parts warm water (by volume) for whole milk consistency.
- Stir or whisk until no clumps remain; use a blender for extra smoothness.
- Refrigerate up to 3 days; shake or stir before serving if separation occurs.
Will this powder work in baking and cooking like fresh whole milk?
Yes — the powder restores the fat and proteins important for baking structure and flavor, producing similar results to liquid whole milk in most recipes. It’s especially useful where recipes call for rich milk flavor or when you need consistent milk without worrying about spoilage. Measure by reconstituted volume or add powder directly into dry mixes where appropriate.
- Use reconstituted milk in cakes, breads, custards, and sauces for creamy texture.
- Add dry powder directly to doughs or batters to boost milk solids and tenderness.
- Maintain recipe ratios by substituting equal volumes of reconstituted milk for liquid milk.
Is this milk powder safe for long-term storage and travel?
It's Just Whole Milk Powder is shelf-stable and designed for reliable storage without refrigeration, making it well suited to travel, camping, and emergency preparedness kits. Keep the bag sealed and stored in a cool, dry place to maximize shelf life and maintain flavor. Once mixed, treat it like fresh milk and refrigerate for up to three days.
- Shelf-stable 2 lb packaging for compact pantry storage or kit inclusion.
- No refrigeration needed before mixing — ideal for camping and travel.
- Sealed storage and cool conditions preserve taste and quality longer.
