MIKE & JEN'S Hot Cocoa Mix is a rich, creamy chocolate beverage powder in a 2.5 lb (40 oz) bulk bag that makes about 35 servings of hot cocoa when mixed with hot water or milk.
Made in Duluth, MN, this hot cocoa powder blends five simple ingredients including milk solids to deliver a smooth, classic chocolate flavor. It’s gluten-free and designed to be quick to prepare—just add hot water or milk and stir for a comforting cup any time of day.
How do I prepare MIKE & JEN'S hot cocoa quickly?
Preparation is straightforward and fast: spoon the powder into a mug, add hot water or warm milk, stir until dissolved, and enjoy. The included recipe proportions give a reliable balance of richness and sweetness, and the milk solids in the mix help create a creamy texture without needing extra ingredients.
- Use 2 tablespoons of powder per 8 oz of hot water or milk for a standard serving.
- Stir vigorously or whisk for 20–30 seconds for a smooth finish.
- For creamier results, heat milk before adding powder or use a milk frother.
- Adjust powder amount to taste: more for thicker cocoa, less for a lighter drink.

The 40 oz bag contains about 35 standard servings, making it a practical choice for frequent drinkers and small gatherings. Store the bag in a cool, dry place and reseal or transfer to an airtight container to maintain freshness between uses.
