Bold, refined, and deeply flavorful, the Olmec Maduro Toro showcases the height of Foundation Cigars’ blending artistry. Drawing inspiration from the Olmec civilization—one of the oldest tobacco-using cultures on Earth— this 6 x 52 cigar pays homage to the roots of the craft. Its San Andrés Maduro wrapper, fermented slowly for maximum depth, envelops long-aged fillers from Nicaragua’s Estelí and Jalapa regions, resulting in a flavor profile packed with earth, cocoa, black pepper, and natural sweetness.
Foundation Cigars has earned a reputation for marrying storytelling with premium tobacco expertise, and the Olmec line is a perfect example of that balance. Created by Nicholas Melillo, whose knowledge of Nicaraguan and Mexican tobaccos is legendary, this blend honors the cultural significance of tobacco in Mesoamerica while delivering the full-bodied satisfaction modern smokers crave.
The Toro size enhances the cigar’s balance, allowing the richness of the Maduro wrapper and the strength of the Nicaraguan core to harmonize beautifully. Expect a long, even burn paired with a smooth draw that offers layered transitions, from deep cocoa and earth to sweeter notes of dried fruit and baking spice.
Whether you're settling in for a long evening or pairing with your favorite dark rum, the Olmec Maduro Toro delivers a luxurious, historically inspired smoking experience—a bold tribute to ancient tradition crafted with contemporary precision.
