What makes Door County Coffee’s roasting method different?
Door County Coffee uses hot air fluidized-bed roasting, which suspends beans in heated air for uniform movement and even heat exposure. This technique reduces scorching and helps achieve consistent roast levels from batch to batch, preserving the delicate flavors of specialty Arabica beans.
- Air roasting: promotes uniform color and flavor development
- Small-batch, family-run approach: attention to consistency and quality
- Specialty beans: uses top-tier Arabica for clearer flavor notes
