GO MENTAL Organic 14-Mushroom Coffee is a dark-roast, ground Arabica blend infused with 14 USDA‑organic mushroom extracts for smooth chocolate notes and sustained alertness.
This small-batch, specialty coffee mixes slow-roasted, high-altitude Arabica beans with a concentrated 14-mushroom extract powder—featuring lion's mane, chaga, reishi and more—to create a low-acid, full-bodied cup. It’s packaged as a 12 oz ground bag from a roastery that controls roasting, blending and bagging to keep flavor and quality consistent. The result is a gourmet dark roast that aims to combine the familiar aroma and taste of coffee with the functional profile of mushroom fruiting-body extracts.
How does this mushroom coffee fit into a morning routine?
Use it like your regular ground coffee: brew in a drip machine, pour-over, French press, or an espresso-style maker. The dark roast yields chocolate and roast notes that pair well with milk or alternative milks and simple sweeteners.
- 12 oz ground bag sized for daily use or trial.
- Dark roast for bold flavor and lower perceived acidity.
- Compatible with common brewing methods for easy substitution.
- Designed to deliver a smooth cup with subtle chocolate undertones.
What mushrooms are included and why are they chosen?
The blend combines 14 mushroom species selected for their complementary profiles and culinary suitability. GO MENTAL uses fruiting-body extracts and whole-mushroom sourcing to create a broad-spectrum mushroom component that mixes seamlessly with coffee.
- Key species: lion's mane, chaga, reishi, cordyceps, shiitake and turkey tail.
- Additional species include agaricus blazei, agarikon, maitake, mesima, oyster, poria, suehirotake, and true tinder polypore.
- Each serving contains a concentrated mushroom blend—approximately 500 mg per cup.
- USDA Organic mushrooms and coffee are used where specified on the bag.
Will this coffee change the taste or caffeine experience?
The mushroom extract is formulated to complement—not overpower—the dark-roasted Arabica base. Expect fuller body and chocolate-forward notes with a roast-forward caffeine profile; some drinkers report a steady, less-jittery experience compared to standard coffees.
- Dark roast profile emphasizes chocolate and roasted aromas.
- Low-acid beans from high-altitude lots for smoother flavor.
- Mushroom blend blended to integrate texture and mouthfeel without grit.
- Approximately the same caffeine range as similar dark-roast Arabica blends.
How is this product handled and who makes it?
GO MENTAL manages every step of production in their roastery, from sourcing beans and mushroom extracts to roasting and bagging. The small-batch approach aims to maintain consistent roast profiles and ensure quality control for each 12 oz package.
- Roastery-controlled process: sourcing, roasting, blending, bagging.
- Small-batch production to preserve roast consistency and flavor.
- Packaged in a 12 oz ground bag for immediate brewing convenience.
- Formulated for vegans and those preferring mushroom fruiting-body extracts.
Who is this for: Coffee lovers seeking a bolder dark roast who want to experiment with functional mushroom blends, people looking for a smooth, low-acid brew, and anyone curious about adding mushroom extracts into their daily cup without changing brewing habits. It’s suited to home brewers, busy professionals, and anyone preferring USDA organic-labeled ingredients and small-batch roasting practices.
