This exceptional S.T. Dupont Gatsby Gainierie Lézard lighter, crafted in September 1993, is one of the rarest leather-clad models produced by the Maison. Finished in a refined heavy silver finish (plac argento) and adorned with genuine blue Lézard leather, this elegant Ligne 2 Medium model represents one of S.T. Dupont’s most exclusive decorative collections of the early 1990s.
The Gainierie collection was produced in only four authentic leather variations—Blue Lézard, Green Lézard, Brown Lézard, and Black—making each version highly collectible. Among them, the blue Lézard is considered one of the rarest and most desirable, seldom appearing on the collector’s market.
The elegant Gatsby architecture offers excellent balance and delivers the celebrated S.T. Dupont “clink” opening sound, reflecting the Maison’s legendary precision engineering and craftsmanship. Combining luxurious materials, refined proportions, and exceptional rarity, this lighter represents one of the most distinctive Gatsby models ever produced.
Offered as a complete full set with its original box and documents, this is an outstanding opportunity to acquire one of the rarest leather-covered S.T. Dupont lighters.
