Named for the winding route that crosses Oahu's mountains, Old Pali Road is an American whiskey made in Hawaii by Ko'olau Distillery. Bottled at 43% ABV in a 750 ml format, it comes from traditional distilling methods applied with close attention at every stage, and it carries the imprint of the island ingredients behind it.
The pour is warm and layered, with oak and spice running alongside a note of dried fruit. Everything settles into a smooth finish that holds on the palate. For whiskey drinkers curious about what is being distilled outside the usual mainland producers, this bottle shows where Ko'olau's craft and its Hawaiian setting meet.
