Vintage 1980 Cartier Solid 18k Gold Jacket Basket Lighter with 750 Hallmarks and Display Box

This exceptional vintage Cartier lighter was crafted in the 1980s and represents one of the most iconic expressions of Cartier’s precious-metal lighter design. Executed as a solid 18k gold Basket Jacket, the lighter bears clear 750 hallmarks beneath the body, confirming its solid gold construction and authenticity. The Basket pattern is among Cartier’s most celebrated and technically demanding designs, combining architectural structure with luxurious weight and presence.

This example is offered with its premium large red Cartier collector display box, along with the complete original documentation set, including the guarantee card, Cartier tool, and Cartier passport. The lighter has been preserved in outstanding condition and stands as a museum-grade example of Cartier’s golden-era craftsmanship. Heavy, refined, and unmistakably iconic, this piece is both a serious collector’s asset and a wearable expression of Cartier heritage.
