What flavor profile does Silver Moon offer?
Silver Moon balances fresh green tea character with bright berry sweetness and creamy vanilla warmth, finished by a subtle spicy undertone. It’s structured but gentle, making it approachable for green-tea lovers and flavored-tea fans alike.
- Primary notes: lively grand berry and mellow vanilla
- Base: delicate, vegetal green tea leaves
- Finish: faint, warming spice that adds depth
- Mouthfeel: smooth with a light, fragrant aftertaste
How should I brew Silver Moon for the best cup?
For a clear, aromatic infusion, use near-boiling water cooled slightly for green tea and allow the leaves room to expand. Brewing times vary by vessel: shorter for a single cup, longer for a small teapot to extract fuller flavor.
- Water temperature: about 95°C (203°F)
- Single cup: place one hand-sewn cotton teabag in a cup, pour water, steep 4–5 minutes
- Small teapot: steep 5–7 minutes for a more pronounced profile
- Remove the bag after steeping to avoid bitterness
Why are the tea bags hand-sewn and made from cotton?
Hand-sewn cotton bags are roomy and breathable, giving whole leaf teas space to fully unfurl and release their aromas. Cotton is a natural, neutral material that won’t interfere with flavor, preserving the blend’s intended balance.
- 100% cotton allows better water flow and leaf expansion
- Hand-sewn construction keeps whole leaves intact during infusion
- Biodegradable and natural material compared to synthetic sachets
- Each bag is sized for one cup or single-person pot brewing
