How will this purée change my drink menu?
Adding this passion fruit purée introduces a distinctive sweet-and-tart profile plus visible passion fruit seeds that create a premium, artisanal appearance. It mixes readily into iced teas, lemonades, cocktails, and milk-based drinks to give them a tropical lift without extensive prep.
- Instantly flavors iced teas, sparkling sodas, and lemonades.
- Adds visible seeds and pulp for an upscale, handmade look.
- Works as a base for signature fruit teas, mocktails, and blended drinks.
- Concentrated formula reduces the need for fresh fruit chopping.
What are the ingredients and how do they affect shelf life?
The purée blends fructose, sugar, concentrated passion fruit juice and seeds, water and texturizers like pectin and CMC, plus preservatives and colorants to maintain flavor and appearance. These components help stabilize texture and extend usable life compared with fresh fruit purée, making it practical for commercial use.
- Key fruit content: passion fruit concentrated juice and seed.
- Stabilizers: pectin and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) for consistent viscosity.
- Preservation: potassium sorbate and citric acid for product stability.
- Colorants: FD&C Yellow #5 and #6 for vibrant, uniform color.
How should I use and store this 64 fl. oz bottle for best results?
Shake well before use to redistribute pulp and seeds, then measure according to your recipe; start with small additions and adjust to taste. Store the sealed bottle in a cool, dry place; refrigerate after opening and use within recommended time frames for quality.
- Use as a syrup-like addition: 1–3 oz per 16-20 oz drink as a starting guideline.
- Shake to mix settled pulp before pouring or scooping.
- Refrigerate after opening; follow label guidance for open-bottle shelf life.
- Suitable for batching large volumes in commercial settings.
Will this purée work in cold and hot preparations?
This passion fruit purée performs best in cold and room-temperature applications where pulp and seeds remain a desirable texture element. It can be incorporated into some warm sauces or glazes, but prolonged heating may alter texture and color.
- Ideal for iced teas, frappes, smoothies, and cocktails.
- Limited use in warm drinks; add after heat to preserve fruit texture.
- Great for dessert toppings and fruit-forward glazes applied briefly.
Who is this for? TEA ZONE 64 fl. oz Passion Fruit Puree is tailored for cafés, bubble-tea shops, bars, caterers, and home cooks who need a reliable, flavorful tropical base that delivers consistent taste, visible fruit elements, and easy batching.
