Tasting notes: Green Tea, Citrus, Lemongrass, Ginger
This remarkable lot showcases the Sudan Rume variety, one of the oldest and rarest Arabica cultivars, celebrated for its distinctive and elegant flavour profile. Carefully produced by Café Granja La Esperanza, this coffee highlights the unique characteristics of the variety, offering a cup that is both refined and refreshingly unconventional.
The experience begins with delicate notes of green tea, creating a light and graceful foundation. Bright citrus flavours soon emerge, bringing vibrancy and structure to the cup, while lemongrass and a subtle touch of ginger add layers of spicy freshness and complexity. Juicy, sweet, and beautifully balanced, this Sudan Rume is a striking expression of both terroir and craftsmanship.
