Savor the Hudson Valley’s finest with Taconic Distillery's Dutchess Private Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey Cabernet Cask Finish. Crafted in Stanfordville, New York, this 90-proof bourbon, released in small batches, blends 70% corn, 25% rye, and 5% malted barley, aged a minimum of 5 years in new charred American oak (Char #3, Independent Stave Company). It’s then finished for an additional 6 months in Napa Cabernet wine casks, infusing a rich, winey complexity. Using local grains and natural spring water from Rolling Hills Farm, it’s non-chill filtered to preserve its deep amber hue and bold flavors. Sip it neat to revel in its smooth warmth or mix it for a cocktail with finesse. Ever tasted a bourbon that drinks like wine? Lauded for its sophistication, this award-winning pour is a gem for bourbon and wine lovers.
