SSP's 78mm multipurpose set is the same burr Timemore fits at the factory in the Sculptor 078SSP, so it drops straight in. The multipurpose cut gives a tight, unimodal particle spread with a low, controlled amount of fines. On filter that reads clear and bright with medium to high acidity. On espresso it is balanced and lighter bodied with a shorter finish, and there is plenty of dial range to work with.
Compatibility
Built for the 78mm Timemore Sculptor platform and a straight swap for the factory burrs.
- Timemore Sculptor 078
- Timemore Sculptor 078S (listed by SSP retailers)
Not for the Sculptor 064 or 064S, which take a 64mm set.
Features
- 78mm flat burrs, SSP multipurpose cut
- Red Speed coating, rated for 5,000kg to 6,000kg of coffee
- Bigger burrs carry less friction and heat, so grinding is quicker and more even
- Clarity and flavour separation on filter, a cleaner and lighter style of espresso
- Expect a seasoning period before the cup settles
