This honey-processed organic Fair Trade coffee has the sweetness of dried fruit and sugar cane with a hint of bittersweet chocolate.
Most coffees are processed dry ('natural') or wet. This coffee is honey processed, which involves the following steps: First, the coffee is de-pulped 24 hours following harvesting, allowing for a slight fermentation of the bean inside the cherry. Next, the coffee is pulped and dry-fermented for 24 hours. Coffee is soaked immediately in water, not washed, to remove excess mucilage. Finally, the coffee is dried in raised beds for two to three weeks. This makes for a very delicious & special coffee!
Available in Limited Supply while beans (and Spring) last.
