SSP cuts its own geometry for the Mythos platform, 65 teeth on the top burr and 60 on the bottom, rather than coating an OEM burr. The result grinds faster and more evenly than the factory set, with a narrower sweet spot, so keep your puck prep tidy. Silver Knight makes slightly fewer fines than Red Speed, which suits filter and bulk grinding, or espresso with a lighter body and more clarity.
Compatibility
Sold as 74mm, and that is normal. Factory Mythos burrs are labelled 75mm, the mount is the same, and these drop straight in.
- Nuova Simonelli and Victoria Arduino Mythos One, including Clima Pro models
- Eureka Atom 75, which uses the same Mythos burr platform
- Kafatek Monolith Flat
Not for the Mythos II, which runs 85mm burrs. Not for Anfim grinders either: their 75mm burr spins the other way on a different mount, so use our SSP 75mm Anfim set for those.
Features
- 74mm flat burrs for the Mythos burr mount
- Silver Knight coating, a diamond-like carbon type finish, rated for around 5,000kg
- SSP tool steel geometry, 65 teeth top and 60 bottom, CNC milled in South Korea
- Faster and more even than the factory Mythos burr, with a narrower sweet spot
- Coated burrs arrive slightly blunted by the coating, so season a few kilos through them
What’s in the box
- 1 x Set of SSP 74mm burrs for Mythos, Silver Knight coated (upper and lower)
