A magnificent Northern Italian natural rosé wine displaying a pale, vibrant pink color with brilliant salmon reflections. Crafted by avant-garde biodynamic vignerons Stefano and Alessia Bertaiola on the morainic, glacier-carved hills south of Lake Garda, this exceptional rosato is made using the traditional direct-press method without skin maceration. It opens with an incredibly fresh and expressive bouquet of wild red currants, crunchy cranberries, and wild strawberries. The complex, energetic nose is beautifully layered with delicate regional suggestions of succulent clementine orange, grapefruit zest, and dried spring herbs. On the palate, it balances a light, remarkably thirst-quenching red fruit core and a racy, linear alpine acidity with a bone-dry, lean mouthfeel, culminating in a pristine, long-lasting finish rich with chalky, mineral-driven depth.
Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with fresh seafood crudo, light pasta salads, traditional salumi, vegetable tempura, or semi-hard cheeses.
