The San Cristobal Golden Hour Ocaso is crafted for those moments when there's nowhere else to be and no reason to rush. Named for the Spanish word for "sunset," this impressive 6" x 60 box-pressed Gordo embodies the warmth and richness of the day's final light. Handcrafted by the legendary García family at My Father Cigars for Ashton Distributors, Golden Hour pairs a lustrous Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and premium long-fillers cultivated on the García family's renowned farms in Estelí, Jalapa, Condega, and Namanjí. The result is a beautifully balanced medium to full-bodied cigar that celebrates both exceptional tobacco and impeccable craftsmanship.
The generous 6" x 60 format allows the blend to develop at an unhurried pace, while its box-pressed profile promotes an effortless draw and remarkably even burn. Layers of cedar, roasted coffee, cinnamon, molasses, and warm baking spices emerge gradually, supported by subtle natural sweetness and a refined touch of pepper. The larger ring gauge softens the profile, producing a creamy, luxurious smoke that rewards patience with increasing depth and complexity.
The San Cristobal Golden Hour Ocaso is a cigar made for lingering conversations, quiet evenings, and the simple pleasure of watching the day come to a close. Rich, refined, and unmistakably crafted in the García family's signature style, it is a fitting tribute to one of the most beautiful moments of the day.
