When Jaime Garcia set out to create a cigar to honor is father, the legendary Jose “Don Pepin” Garcia, he ignited the collective imaginations of connoisseurs everywhere and created a classic that is consistently one of the highest rated cigars currently on the market: the My Father No. 1 Robusto.
The My Father No. 1 Robusto is a beautifully crafted 5 ¼” x 52 cigar draped in a sensuous Habano Rosado wrapper leaf. Hidden beneath are luscious binder and filler tobaccos from Garcia-owned farms in Estela, Nicaragua. The finished stick is a sumptuous 93-rated smoke of 45 minutes to an hour.
The My Father No. 1 Robusto is gloriously rich, yet silky smooth smoke filled with hearty earth, pepper and spice flavors. Coffee and cocoa notes meld with woody nuances as toast and nuts round out the lavishly complex medium-to-full bodied smoke. A sweet and creamy finale draws the unforgettable journey to a most satisfying close.
The My Father No. 1 Robusto is a voluptuous and entertaining smoke that will delight one and all with glimpses of Golden Age Cuban cigars wrapped up in a purely Nicaraguan personality. Wildly deserving of its long list of accolades, the My Father No. 1 Robusto is simply one of the all-time great smokes.
