The Raspberry & Grapefruit Just Juice Bar Saltfill brings together two bold fruit flavours in a 40ml shortfill that's designed specifically for mouth-to-lung vaping. Available at Grey Haze, this UK-manufactured e-liquid combines tart raspberry notes with tangy grapefruit, finished with a chilly ice exhale that makes each puff refreshing. Unlike typical shortfills that lean towards higher VG ratios, this one's crafted with a 40% VG concentration - making it ideal for MTL kits and pod systems rather than sub-ohm tanks.
Just Juice has built quite a reputation since 2019, picking up six international awards along the way. Their Bar Saltfill range takes ten of their champion flavours and reformulates them specifically for vapers who prefer tighter draws and smaller vapour production. The 40ml bottle sits inside a 60ml container, leaving plenty of room for nicotine shots if you need them.
Flavour Profile and Vaping Experience
The raspberry comes through first - it's properly tart, not that artificial sweetness you sometimes get. The grapefruit adds a citrusy tang that cuts through nicely, and there's definitely an ice element on the exhale. It's not overpowering menthol, more like a cool finish that refreshes your palate.
Being a 40% VG blend means you'll get decent flavour without massive clouds. This works brilliantly in starter kits and pod systems where you want taste over vapour production. The throat hit's smooth enough for regular use, though adding nicotine shots will obviously change that dynamic.
Nicotine Customisation Options
Here's where the 40ml format really shines - you've got proper flexibility with nicotine strength. Add one 18mg nic shot and you'll end up with 50ml of 3.6mg juice. Chuck in two shots and you're looking at 60ml of 6mg liquid. If you prefer 20mg nic shots, one gives you 4mg strength, two gets you to 6.6mg.
The extra space in that 60ml Just Juice bottle isn't just for show - it actually makes mixing much easier than trying to squeeze shots into completely full containers.

Frequently Asked Questions
What vape kits work best with this e-liquid?
This 40% VG ratio works perfectly with MTL starter kits and pod systems. It's specifically designed for tighter airflow devices rather than sub-ohm tanks.
How much nicotine should I add?
One 18mg nic shot creates 3.6mg strength, two shots make 6mg. For stronger hits, use 20mg shots - one for 4mg or two for 6.6mg final strength.
Does the ice flavour dominate the fruit?
No, the ice provides a cooling exhale rather than overwhelming menthol. The raspberry and grapefruit remain the main flavour focus throughout.
Is this suitable for direct-to-lung vaping?
Not really - the 40% VG concentration and flavour balance are optimised for mouth-to-lung devices. You'd want higher VG for DTL setups.
How does this compare to other Just Juice flavours?
This sits in their Bar Saltfill range, which reformulates popular flavours specifically for MTL vaping with the 40ml format and lower VG ratio.
