From South Africa’s Western Cape, this 2024 red wine honors sailors who tucked letters under stones hoping the the next European traveler would deliver them home. Rich blackberry and mulberry unfold in a round, expressive mouthfeel, offering a balanced fruit profile that lingers like a well-told story. Roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate notes rise with a whisper of spice and a delicate warmth. Aged in high-toast French barrels (30% new), the wine embraces its heritage with bold dryness and a gripping texture. This full, romantic red captures maritime longing—truly a message in a glass, sealed with history and sipped in reflection. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
