8 bold beers from Salford, from DIPA and West Coast IPA to sour and Schwarzbier
Pomona Island began in 2017 with a DIY approach, making cask beer in open-top fermenters and reinvesting into the brewery as it grew. The team is best known for New England-style hazy beers, but its range also spans early-2000s West Coast IPAs, imperial stouts, fruited and farmhouse sours, heritage British styles and an extensive barrel-ageing programme.
This box shows that range in full, with hop-forward beers, a dry-hopped pilsner, a crisp Schwarzbier and two expressive fruit sours.
What's in the box:
- Hotter Than a Pepper Sprout, DIPA - 8%
- You Can Watch Yourself While You're Eating, IPA - 6.4%
- Black Lights and a Mirrored Disco Ball, Raspberry and Cherry Sour IPA - 6%
- I'm With You Derek, Raspberry, Strawberry, Banana and Coconut Smoothie Sour - 5% (collab with Rivington)
- Mad About Brubeck, Traditional West Coast IPA - 6.9%
- I See Your Schwartz Is as Big as Mine, Schwarzbier - 5%
- Alarm Zu Geben, Dry-Hopped Pilsner - 5.6%
- Frills of St John, Pale - 5%
Pomona Island is a guest brewery this month. Order before 26th October. Beers are subject to availability.
