The Founders Reserve 13 Year from Penelope’s Estate Collection is the kind of bourbon you savour to mark a milestone. Aged for over a decade and bottled at 121.4 proof, it’s bold yet refined. This release honours time, craft, and barrel selection—letting patience reveal character. The nose opens with warm caramel, vanilla bean, and subtle tobacco leaf; hints of candied fruit dance in the background. On the palate, you’ll find toasted nuts, graham cracker sweetness, rich oak, and dark fruit depth. And the finish lingers: black-pepper spice, lingering caramel, and a warm echo of wood-char. It’s not showy; it’s measured, matured, and meaningful.
