Portland Syrups Authentic Ginger Syrup is a 12 oz all‑natural mixer that adds bold, spicy ginger flavor to cocktails, mocktails, and homemade sodas.
Made for home bartenders and beverage creators, this ginger syrup blends organic ginger concentrate, organic cane sugar, and a hint of Japanese chilies to deliver bright heat and clean sweetness without artificial additives. One 12 oz bottle stretches to roughly 12–24 cocktails or about a gallon of ginger soda, making it useful for a weeknight drink or a small gathering. Use it like you would grenadine or simple syrup to quickly build balanced, ginger-forward beverages.

A 12 oz bottle typically yields 12 standard cocktail servings and can stretch to about 24 lighter drinks or roughly 1 gallon of ginger soda when mixed with carbonated water. Start with 0.5–1 oz per cocktail and adjust to taste; for soda, mix about 1 part syrup to 4–6 parts sparkling water depending on sweetness preference.
- Standard cocktail measure: approximately 0.5–1 oz per drink.
- Ginger soda: combine 1:4 to 1:6 syrup to sparkling water.
- Works hot or cold—stir into tea, lemonade, or carbonated mixers.
- Shake with spirits and citrus for balanced, bright cocktails.
How should I store and serve Portland Syrups Ginger Syrup?
Keep the bottle sealed and refrigerated after opening to preserve freshness and flavor. Serve chilled or at room temperature depending on recipe; warm a small portion for hot toddies or incorporate cold for fizzy beverages and iced craft cocktails.
- Refrigerate after opening for best shelf life and flavor.
- Serve cold for sodas and highballs, warm for hot drinks.
- Shake or stir to reincorporate if separation occurs.
- Use within a reasonable timeframe after opening for optimal taste.
