The Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edición Limitada is a highly prized, collectable perfecto vitola crafted to celebrate 135 years since founder Melanio Oliva planted his first tobacco crop in Pinar del Río, Cuba, in 1886. Taking inspiration from classic 19th-century figurado shapes, this impressive 6½-inch-by-54 ring-gauge vitola features a distinctive flared foot and a gracefully tapered cap. This special format restricts airflow at initial ignition, concentrating smoke intensity and delivering a gradual, dynamic escalation of flavours as the burn transitions past the tapered foot into the broader body.
The structural and tobacco specifications of this exact vitola are engineered to deliver a dense, cool-burning smoke over an extended tasting session. Encased in an oily, sun-grown Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf, the cigar utilises a hearty Nicaraguan binder to enclose a masterfully fermented interior core of aged Nicaraguan Jalapa Valley Ligero tobaccos. This impressive 6½″ x 54 perfecto format guarantees high structural integrity, an effortless draw, a sharp burn line, and a consistent delivery of deep, multi-layered complexity throughout a 60 to 75-minute session.
