Dive into a sweet, spicy adventure with NULU Experimental Series 6 Year Old Rye Whiskey Finished in Honey Barrels. Crafted by Prohibition Craft Spirits in Louisville, Kentucky, this 118-proof (59% ABV) single-barrel rye stands out from the Experimental Finish Series. Sourced from MGP’s iconic 95% rye, 5% malted barley mashbill, it’s aged 6 years in new charred American oak before a 6-month finish in barrels previously holding local honey. Non-chill filtered, it retains a rich, unfiltered character with a deep amber hue. The NULU team meticulously tastes each barrel to ensure the honey finish shines through. Sip it neat to savor its bold complexity or add water to temper the spice. Ever tasted a rye this lusciously balanced? Priced at $130-140, it’s a limited gem for rye lovers, especially at $79.
