There are few names in the cigar world that deliver so supple and rewarding a smoke or rival the prestige of the legendary Montecristo brand. And there is one blend in particular that is unlike any other Montecristo that has captured the attention of cigar connoisseurs across the land: The Montecristo New York Connoisseur Edition.
Originally intended to be an exclusive creation for the New York market, the Montecristo New York Connoisseur Edition No. 2 is a gorgeous 6 1/8” x 54 box-pressed Torpedo perfectly assembled around a corps of finely aged Dominican filler tobaccos that are tucked inside of a Nicaraguan binder leaf and a deeply textured Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf.
The Montecristo New York Connoisseur Edition No. 2 oozes with unparalleled cigar smoking pleasure, as each puff delivers impeccably balanced and serenely gratifying nutmeg, cinnamon, earth, cocoa, toffee, light pepper and spice flavors which are tied together by a sensuous creamy undertone.
This magnificently smooth medium-to-full bodied treasure is a cigar that makes in occasion a truly special one and should be on every self-respecting cigar connoisseur’s bucket list. By all accounts the Montecristo New York Connoisseur Edition No. 2 isn’t just one of the best Montecristo cigars, yet one of the absolute best cigars available today… period.
