Mermaid Zest Citrus Botanical Gin is an English gin from the Isle of Wight Distillery built on a citrus-first profile — grapefruit peel, island bergamot, and wild-foraged coastal rosemary over a classic juniper backbone, at 42% ABV (84 proof).
Mermaid Zest blends traditional gin-making with coastal, foraged botanicals to create a bright, aromatic citrus gin that stays balanced rather than sharp. It is an award-winning craft gin, vibrant enough for a premium Gin & Tonic yet smooth enough to sip over ice with a grapefruit peel and a sprig of rosemary.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is Mermaid Zest different from a classic London Dry?
It leans citrus-forward on grapefruit peel and island bergamot, finished with wild coastal rosemary. You still get juniper, but the overall profile is brighter and more aromatic than most traditional styles.
What's the best way to serve it?
A premium tonic with plenty of ice and a grapefruit or orange peel garnish; a fresh rosemary sprig highlights the herbal note.
Is it good for cocktails?
Yes — its bright citrus works well in a Tom Collins variation and other warm-weather gin cocktails.
