Marcotte Strawberry Lemonade Moonshine comes from Marcotte Distilling Co. in Philomath, Oregon. Joe and Janelle Marcotte started the company after selling their trucking business in 2016. Their moonshine has a corn whiskey base. It is distilled extra clean so natural fruit flavors can shine.
Strawberry lemonade is one of the brand's fun natural flavors. It sits alongside coffee, apple pie and pumpkin spice in the range. This one is pure summer in a bottle.
Ripe strawberry leads the way, then tart lemonade brightens each sip. The balance leans sweet and tangy rather than hot. It finishes smooth, with fruity citrus that stays for a moment.
Serve it well chilled or over ice. For a light spritz, top it with sparkling water and a few sliced strawberries. It also makes an easy base for a party punch or a pitcher of lemonade.
Bring it to a cookout with BBQ ribs or grilled chicken. It goes nicely with fruit desserts and lemon bars too. You will enjoy it if you like fruity, easygoing drinks that need no recipe.
