This Barolo from the Rocche Rivera vineyard shows developed aromas of dried cherry, rose, violet, and sweet spice, layered with notes of leather, tobacco, and earthy minerality. The palate is full-bodied and structured, offering mature red fruit, savory depth, and refined complexity. Tannins have softened with age, providing a smooth yet persistent texture, while balanced acidity keeps the wine lively. The finish is long and elegant, marked by spice, earth, and classic Nebbiolo character.
Food Pairing: Braised beef, lamb, truffle dishes, osso buco, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses, and traditional Italian cuisine.
90 Points - Wine Enthusiast
Aromas of pressed rose, dried berry, leather, chopped herb, cinnamon and a balsamic note emerge in the glass. The subtle palate delivers dried black cherry, black raspberry, licorice and a hint of tobacco alongside firm, ripe tannins. Enjoy sooner rather than later to capture the remaining fruit richness.
