Laurichesse Le Chai de Mon Pere Fut 111 Grande Champagne Cognac is an exceptionally mature single-cask expression from Maison Laurichesse's Le Chai de Mon Pere collection. Distilled in the 1970s by Guy Laurichesse using the family's 12-hectolitre still at Verrieres, this rare Grande Champagne Cognac spent decades developing in Cask 111 before being bottled in January 2025. Presented without reduction or added caramel, it was bottled at 44.4% ABV with only 276 bottles produced. Its deeply mature profile combines cigar box, blond tobacco and warming spice with dried fruit, white pepper, aged wood and developed rancio.
Food Pairing: Aged Comte, roasted duck, smoked meats, dried figs, toasted walnuts, dark chocolate, coffee desserts, and mature hard cheeses.
Tasting Notes: Deep amber with golden highlights, offering a powerful and mature profile combining dried fruit, tobacco, spice, tannins, aged wood and developed rancio.
Nose: Cigar box, blond tobacco and warming spices with subtle mature rancio.
Palate: Bold and structured with pronounced tannins, dried fruit and delicate white pepper.
Finish: Long and persistent with lingering spice and aged wood.
