La Luna Chino Silvestre Mezcal 750ml is a small-lot artisanal mezcal from Michoacán, Mexico, made entirely from wild Cupreata agave, locally called Chino, and bottled at 48.51% ABV / 97.02 proof. For this lot, La Luna cooked the mature capped agave for 168 hours, rested it for 144 hours before crushing, used additional bagazo in the fermentation vats, and fermented for 240 hours before applying lot-specific distillation cuts.
La Luna describes lemon, evergreen leaves, pine, and resin on the aroma, with anise, clove, and cooked agave among the flavors. The exact 750ml commerce record carries UPC 040232247590, while the clean white-background bottle image visibly identifies La Luna, Mezcal Artesanal, Michoacán, and 100% Maguey Chino. The long cook, extended rest, and careful fermentation place the wild Cupreata and its regional character at the center of the expression. Pour it neat in a copita to follow its citrus, herbal, resinous, spice, and cooked-agave details.
