Wine Description
In the glass, the 2024 vintage presents a brilliant medium-gold hue with pale straw reflections. The nose opens with an inviting and classic bouquet of ripe Gala apple, Meyer lemon curd, and white peach, layered alongside fragrant jasmine, toasted hazelnut, brioche, and sweet vanilla spice from oak maturation. On the palate, it is full-bodied, opulent, and creamy, yet maintained by a core of bright, refreshing acidity that keeps the lushness in harmony. Flavors of tropical fruit, lemon oil, and baking spices carry through to a long, supple, and buttery finish. Crafted as a 100% Chardonnay varietal expression, the hand-harvested grapes are gently whole-cluster pressed and barrel-fermented in French oak (roughly 30% to 35% new).
