A.D. Rattray Cask Speyside 12 Year Old Sherry Finish is a small-batch Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from an undisclosed distillery, independently bottled by A.D. Rattray. Aged for 12 years and finished in sherry casks, this expression combines the fresh orchard-fruit character of Speyside malt with richer berry fruit, honeyed sweetness and warming spice. Bottled at 46% ABV with natural colour and without chill filtration, it offers a balanced profile of red apple, blackcurrant, stone fruit, citrus and gently spiced sherry character.
Food Pairing: Pair with baked Brie, roasted almonds, apple crumble, cherry tart, orange-infused dark chocolate or lightly spiced fruitcake.
Tasting Notes: Fruity and richly balanced, combining orchard and berry fruits with honey, citrus, almond sweetness and gentle baking spice.
Nose: Almond icing, cinnamon, red apple and blackcurrant.
Palate: Cherry and plum with spiced honey and zesty orange marmalade.
Finish: Gently lingering with subtle spice and a lightly tart bramble character.
