Johnnie Walker Double Black is a Blended Whisky created in the style of Johnnie Walker Black Label but with a rich, more intense, smokier flavour. It is proof that this pioneering spirit is still alive and well today.
Created through blending selected aged whiskies that are naturally smoky and rich in character, with those matured in deep charred old oak casks, it is a whisky of real character and depth of taste.
This handsome gift set includes two Johnnie Walker branded whisky glasses featuring the iconic Striding Man logo.
Product Description
John Walker clearly wasn't a sentimental man. Within a year of his Father dying (in 1819) he had sold the family's farm and set up his own Grocery Store. His business acumen was never in question though and the store went from strength to strength. He was also frustrated by the quality inconsistencies of Malt Whiskies available at the time. This simply wasn't good enough for him and so soon the store saw an addition to its shelves- his own blended whisky.
