Crafted on the remote Isle of Harris in Scotland, this gin captures the essence of its maritime surroundings. Distilled in small batches, it features sustainably hand-harvested Sugar Kelp seaweed from the island’s sea lochs, lending a delicate, oceanic character. Complemented by a selection of botanicals—including juniper, coriander, cubebs, cassia bark, angelica root, bitter orange peel, orris root, and liquorice—it delivers a refined and complex flavor profile that speaks to its coastal origins.
On the palate, Isle of Harris Gin is exceptionally smooth, with bright citrus and warm spice wrapped in a subtle saline note from the Sugar Kelp. Juniper remains the backbone, balanced by a gentle sweetness and a soft, lingering finish. By distilling only the finest heart of the run and discarding the harsher heads and tails, each bottle ensures a luxurious and pure expression of the craft.
Best enjoyed in a simple serve that highlights its unique character, Isle of Harris Gin shines in a classic gin and tonic with a slice of red grapefruit to enhance its citrus and coastal elements. It also makes for a sophisticated base in martinis or light, refreshing cocktails. Whether sipped by the shore or savored at home, it offers a true taste of the Hebrides in every pour.
