Hogsworth Bourbon Whiskey & Armagnac is a daring mash-up of Southern charm and French flair—bold, barrel-aged, and ready to crash your party with swagger and a silk cravat.
Hogsworth Bourbon Whiskey & Armagnac is a distinctive blend that marries American bourbon with French Armagnac, offering a unique tasting experience. The blend consists of 52% bourbon whiskey from the 2019 vintage and 48% Armagnac from the 1982, 2010, and 2012 vintages. The average age of the blend is approximately 9.3 years, combining bourbons aged between 4 to 42 years with Armagnacs of varying maturities.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Aromas of honey, crème brûlée, baking spices, and gingersnap.
Palate: Flavors of chai, green apple, black pepper, and orange zest.
Finish: A firm finish with oak spice, marmalade, and vanilla bean.
Created by Raj Peter Bhakta, founder of WhistlePig, Hogsworth aims to innovate within the American whiskey market by blending quality bourbons with aged Armagnacs.
"I created a famous rye whiskey brand, sold it, and severed all ties. But I remained fond of pigs. My work felt incomplete —and American whiskey needs a shakeup. So I present Hogsworth. It is the finest bottle you’ll find — at even ten times the price. Taste and see.
Hogsworth marries America’s best bourbons with exquisite Armagnacs from France — some over forty years old. Older, richer, more complex. This is what it means to get your Hogsworth." - Raj Peter Bhakta
