The H. Upmann 1844 Reserve is a real contender for cigar with the biggest bang for the buck. The Reserve Churchill has the rich, complex flavors of modern cigar blending, but also is both as consistent and composed as any high-end smoke out there.
A luxurious example of master craftsmanship, the impressively-sized 7” x 50 Churchill begins with a beautiful leathery Ecuadorian Cubano wrapper. Then a Nicaraguan-grown binder leaf surrounds filler tobaccos harvested from the lush valleys of the Dominican Republic. The stellar construction offers up an impeccable draw and clean burn. Rushes of earth, spice and pepper flavors flow unimpeded while a toasted wood undertone is also present.
Medium-to-full bodied to start, the H. Upmann 1844 Reserve Churchill will lean heavily towards the fuller end as it nears a long-lasting finish. The 1844 Reserve is not just a great Upmann cigar, but a great cigar for that deserves a place in any aficionado’s humidor. Spend up to two hours savoring this smoke and you will understand why H. Upmann 1844 Reserve cigars appear on so many “Best of” lists.
A fine way to bring a long day to a relaxing close, the 1844 Reserve series is the premiere choice for balanced, but flavor-packed sticks. Fire up the H. Upmann 1844 Reserve Churchill for purely relaxed moments… H. Upmann moments.
