A truly legendary and ultra-rare single grain Scotch whisky from a monumental 1962 distillation. Matured for an incredible 59 years in a single refill American hogshead (Cask #16927), this expression represents the pinnacle of the "Spirit of Scotland" series. The nose is extraordinarily complex, offering layers of antique mahogany, dried apricot, and dark Manuka honey, underscored by delicate notes of pressed flowers and beeswax. The palate is elegant and silken, revealing deep flavors of toasted coconut, crème brûlée, and caramelized citrus peel, balanced by refined oak tannins. It concludes with an exceptionally long, ethereal finish of sweet spice and old leather.
