Based in Vosne Romanée, this prestigious family-run estate spans eight hectares and is celebrated for its ancestral expertise and commitment to expressing authentic Burgundy terroirs. Today, Michel Gros and his son Pierre continue to uphold the family's multi-generational winemaking tradition, ensuring that each vintage maintains the finesse and character that have defined the domaine for decades.
Wine Description
This Pinot Noir presents a deep, intense red colour with vibrant purple highlights. On the high-toned nose, complex aromas of black cherries and raspberries are complemented by notes of licorice, sweet leather, fresh earth, and a delicate touch of vanilla and clove from well-integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant, exhibiting a rich, toasty entry with fine, structured tannins and a balanced freshness that carries into a complex, persistent finish. Composed of 100% Pinot Noir, this single-parcel village wine offers an optimal drinking window of eight to ten years.
