Garrison Brothers Straight Bourbon Whiskey 375 ml “Boot Flask” is a bold, portable expression of authentic Texas bourbon—delivering the distillery’s signature rich, heat-driven intensity in a compact, collectible format. Designed to fit in your boot (literally), this 375 ml flask offers the same full-flavored Small Batch bourbon experience, packed with honeyed sweetness, baking spice, and smoky oak. It’s both an accessible entry into Garrison Brothers and a rugged, uniquely Texan statement piece.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced at Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas, this bourbon reflects one of the pioneers of the modern Texas whiskey movement. Founded in 2008, Garrison Brothers focuses on grain-to-glass production, using locally sourced corn, wheat, and barley along with a sweet mash process and intense Texas aging conditions. The Boot Flask is essentially the distillery’s award-winning Small Batch Bourbon presented in a smaller, highly portable format.
Key production and style elements include:
Mash Bill: Corn, wheat, and malted barley (Texas-grown emphasis)
Aging: Minimum ~4 years in new charred American oak under extreme Texas heat
ABV: 47% (94 proof)
Format: 375 ml flask-style bottle designed for portability
The Texas climate—often exceeding 100°F—accelerates maturation, forcing the whiskey deep into the oak and extracting intense flavors of caramelized sugar, spice, and oak.
The “Boot Flask” design is more than novelty—it’s rooted in practicality and brand personality, built to fit snugly in a boot or pocket, reinforcing the rugged, frontier ethos of the distillery.
Critics Reviews
There are no widely published professional critic scores specific to the Boot Flask format, as it is a packaging variation of the Small Batch Bourbon.
However, Garrison Brothers bourbons are widely recognized in major spirits competitions, and the distillery’s broader lineup has earned significant accolades, reinforcing the quality of the liquid inside this format.
