Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Bull – Short Robusto (3 ½ x 55)
The Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Bull is one of the most unique and highly sought-after cigars to come from Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. Originally kept under wraps at the 2022 PCA Convention, this cigar made its official debut at the 2023 PCA Trade Show, offered exclusively to retailers in attendance. Now available in limited quantities, it represents both tradition and innovation within the legendary Don Carlos line.
Crafted with the same award-winning blend that defines Don Carlos, the Eye of the Bull features a rich Cameroon wrapper over a Dominican binder and filler. What sets it apart is its distinctive cap—finished with a darker piece of tobacco to create a striking “bull’s eye” effect, symbolizing its bold identity. Despite its compact short robusto vitola (3 ½” x 55), this cigar delivers a full-flavored experience with remarkable depth.
From the first draw, expect notes of dry wood, subtle sweetness, and a pepper-forward profile that evolves with creamy undertones and balanced complexity. Medium-bodied with a smooth burn and excellent construction, the Eye of the Bull showcases Fuente’s mastery in every puff.
Presented in luxurious 20-count boxes designed in the style of the Don Carlos Edición de Aniversario series, each tray is engraved with “Don Carlos” and “Eye of the Bull,” making it as much a collector’s piece as it is a cigar to savor.
