Privada Storytelling
The Wraith Series is Privada’s way of summoning cigar folklore — reviving legendary blends that once shook the industry and changed the course of blending forever. These cigars, long absent from the market in their original form, are painstakingly reconstructed by returning to the factories where they were first born. Every Wraith release is a resurrection, giving collectors and smokers alike the rare chance to experience history reimagined.
For October 2024, the Wraith manifests as a revered Connecticut blend, created during the early 2010s when the cigar world was consumed by maduro mania. Against the grain, this Connecticut stood out for its refinement and depth, earning a loyal cult following. Now, more than a decade later, it returns in the form of a 6×54 box-pressed toro, crafted with tobaccos that remain cloaked in secrecy to protect the original brand.
Flavor Journey
The cigar opens with cream, cedar, and almond layered over a gentle white pepper. Midway, toasted bread and vanilla rise, creating an elegant harmony. The final third closes with subtle citrus brightness and earthy sweetness, leaving behind a refined and lasting impression of why this blend was once legendary.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada thrives on history, rarity, and education. The Wraith Series delivers all three, offering members a chance to smoke cigars that shaped eras of blending. By bringing back this Connecticut classic, Privada gives its community access to a piece of the past while proving that greatness never truly disappears — it just waits to be resurrected.
