Profile: Full
The Fuente Fuente OpusX is the most celebrated Dominican cigar in history — the release that proved the Dominican Republic could grow world-class wrapper tobacco and changed the premium cigar industry forever. Every leaf in every OpusX is grown exclusively at Chateau de la Fuente, rolled at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia., and produced in quantities so limited that demand perpetually exceeds supply worldwide.
The Angel’s Share is one of the most poetic expressions within the OpusX portfolio. The name references the portion of a spirit that evaporates from the barrel during aging — the share that belongs to the angels. For Fuente, the Angel’s Share represents something similar: tobaccos that have been set aside, aged beyond the standard release parameters, and reserved for a cigar worthy of that extra time. The result is an OpusX that is smoother, more refined, and more complex than the already-exceptional standard expression — deeper in flavor, longer on the finish, and unmistakably the product of patience.
Available in five vitolas, all featuring the Colorado Maduro wrapper shade that defines the Angel’s Share line:
- Double Corona (7⅝ x 49) — A grand Churchill format for those who want the full Angel’s Share experience across a long, leisurely smoke.
- Fuente Fuente (5⅝ x 46) — The classic OpusX Corona Extra format in the Angel’s Share expression.
- Perfecxión X (6¼ x 48) — The iconic OpusX Toro, one of the most beloved vitolas in the entire lineup.
- Reserva D’Chateau (7 x 48) — A stately Churchill delivering the blend’s full depth and complexity across an extended smoking experience.
- Robusto (5¼ x 50) — A focused, powerful expression of the Angel’s Share blend in the most approachable format.
Allocated product. Availability is not guaranteed. When we have it, it’s here. When it’s gone, there is no reorder timeline. Please note: “Box of 29” applies to the Robusto only; “Box of 32” applies to all other vitolas.
