As Nat Sherman's VP, Michael Herklots was the man behind many of the now-retired brand's most successful cigar blends. Herklots and former Nat Sherman CFO Brendon Scott secured the rights to the original Nat Sherman blends and relaunched them under their Ferio Tego brand. While the name has changed, the blends are the same delicious concoctions cigar lovers have always enjoyed. This includes the fan-favorite Metro Connecticut Union.
The Metro Connecticut Union's popular 4 ½" x 50 size is an ideal way to experience the supple Dominican binder and filler tobaccos at the heart of the classic blend. A golden Connecticut wrapper leaf puts the finishing touch on the tantalizing smoke, offering a fantastic sensory escape of 45 minutes or so.
The Ferio Tego Metro Connecticut Union is a mellow, easy-going affair delivering a complex mix of buttery toast, cedar, hazelnut, and leather flavors. Hints of spice and cream add sophistication to the silky excursion, which concludes with a refined, deeply satisfying finish.
The original Nat Sherman Metropolitan series was known for offering smooth and elegant smokes. The Ferio Tego Metro Connecticut Union carries that tradition forward with a beautifully balanced and tasty cigar smoking escape. A great pairing option for coffee, whether morning or after dinner.
