Ernesto Perez-Carrillo was at the forefront of the large ring gauge cigar explosion that resulted in the wildly diverse range of big sticks available today. He remains the master of the style, as is apparent with his big, tasty, and rich 5 7/8" x 60 EP Carrillo INCH Nicaragua No. 60.
The INCH Nicaragua No. 60 is constructed of rich Nicaraguan tobaccos selected by Perrez-Carrillo from the legendary Plasencia family's luxurious Condega, Esteli, and Jalapa tobacco stock. Each leaf is chosen to lend top-notch complexity and taste to each smoke. The Nicaraguan leaves are covered with a shade-grown Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper, completing a savory Nicaraguan Puro that'll keep you fully engaged for over an hour.
The larger size means the INCH Nicaragua No. 60 delivers optimal levels of taste and character more consistently throughout the medium-full smoke. Initial earthiness clears a path for voluptuous cedar, cocoa, brewer's yeast, cashew, pepper, and baking spice. Hints of cream tease the palate during a robust yet intricately balanced finish.
The thick INCH Nicaragua No. 60 provides an expansive framework for Perez-Carrillo to do what he does best: blend for bold body and taste while maintaining unrivaled smoothness. The cigar is one of the standouts in Ernesto Perez-Carrillo's INCH series, which celebrates how cigars are measured using 64ths of an inch. So, if you like big and tasty Puros, the INCH Nicaragua No. 60 is a celebration you don't want to miss.
