Empress 1908 0.0 Indigo is a premium, alcohol-free spirit alternative inspired by the iconic original color-changing gin. It presents a vibrant, all-natural deep blue hue derived from butterfly pea blossom extract. The nose opens with bright citrus zest from grapefruit and lemon, backed by subtle juniper and an earthy, floral undertone. On the palate, it delivers a soft, velvety texture with a crisp entry of citrus, leading to mid-palate complexity featuring a hint of warming spices and ginger. Formulated with filtered water and a touch of cane sugar for body, it reacts dynamically with acidic mixers like tonic water or citrus juice—transforming the liquid from indigo to bright lavender or fuchsia.
Food Pairing: Perfectly complements smoked salmon canapés, fresh goat cheese salads, grilled shrimp with citrus butter, cucumber sandwiches, and lemon tarts.
