EGM Cigars built its reputation on the art of the Puro Dominicano, crafting cigars entirely from tobacco grown and produced in the Dominican Republic. The EGM Maduro marks a bold new chapter for the brand, introducing an American Broadleaf Maduro wrapper for the first time in its history while preserving the Dominican soul that made EGM a favorite among discerning smokers.
The decision to incorporate a USA Broadleaf Maduro wrapper was not made lightly. After years of refining its Dominican blend, EGM selected American Broadleaf for the exceptional depth, natural sweetness, and richness it contributes to the smoking experience. Dark, oily, and full of character, the wrapper beautifully complements the Cibao Valley binder and filler tobaccos, creating a profile layered with dark earth, espresso, dark chocolate, and lingering sweetness.
The Rios (6 x 46) offers an elegant corona format that allows the Broadleaf wrapper to take center stage during a long, unhurried smoke. The Floridos (5½ x 52) balances strength and finesse in a versatile toro size, while the Maximos (5¼ x 56) delivers the boldest expression of the blend, amplifying the richness and complexity of the Broadleaf through its generous ring gauge.
Each cigar is crafted Totalmente a Mano in Santo Domingo, using long filler tobaccos and the same obsessive attention to construction that defines every cigar in the EGM portfolio. For enthusiasts ready to explore a new side of one of the Dominican Republic's finest producers, EGM Maduro offers a sophisticated evolution rooted in tradition while embracing bold new possibilities.
