Another outstanding entry in the High West Cask Collection, this limited release offers a bright and fruity twist on their classic flavor profile. A masterfully blended base of 6 to 10-year-old straight bourbon and straight rye whiskeys is finished for 10 months in barrels that previously held Sauvignon Blanc white wine. Bottled at 100 proof, this unique finishing process brightens the whiskey, lifting the heavy caramel notes with crisp, vibrant orchard fruits and a subtle floral elegance.
NOSE
Fresh and vibrant with aromas of underripe peach, banana cream pie, vanilla, and spring florals.
PALATE
Crisp and bright, featuring notes of green apple, grapefruit zest, cinnamon poached pears, and toasted oak.
FINISH
Warming and sweet, lingering with flavors of gingerbread drizzled with honey and wet slate.
